Fabulous luxury country house on private 20 hectare wine estate.

PRIVATE WINE ESTATE

Mas de Michel is a luxury 18th-century country house 'Mas' sited on a 20-hectare estate just outside of Bonnieux (7km), in the Luberon region of Provence. It offers complete privacy and relaxation for guests. The property has no neighbours and affords the opportunity for long walks through the vineyards and forests where the only sound is the birds, cicadas or at night the occasional wild boar. The spacious and refined villa provides the ideal setting for a large family or group of friends to gather in the heart of authentic Provence.

PURE BLISS FOR FOODIES

The Mas has local food and wine at its heart. The vineyard's chardonnay grapes produce a premium vintage that is available locally and is sometimes the bottle of wine in the welcome hamper. Guests can pick fresh herbs from the garden in season. Cherry, fig and pear trees provide for the jams sometimes made on the Mas. Truffles grow on the property and truffle hunting can be arranged with a local dog in season (Autumn/ Winter). Local markets, on every day of the week, are in easy reach for plentiful food sampling opportunities. A private chef can be organised to cook local specialities at the Mas and we can arrange bookings at the best local restaurants. With notice we can arrange provencal cooking lessons and local wine tours.
